I discovered that the clay pots I used seep water and caused the paint to bubble and discolor. So, in the future, they would need to be sealed or use plastic pots instead. But for now, it gives them character. :)
Black and white is a classic color scheme for a house number plaque, but consider the colors in your home's exterior.
